The Athlete
Behind the Swing
As a 28-year-old professional golfer with a diverse athletic background, my journey has been defined by resilience, adaptability, and an unrelenting passion for the game. Growing up in a small town in Colorado, I was surrounded by a family that valued sports—golf was a cherished pastime, but lacrosse was my main focus. Competing in lacrosse through high school and into my freshman year at Christopher Newport University (CNU), I was committed to a collegiate lacrosse career. But life, as it often does, had other plans.
In 2013, the Solheim Cup was held at my home course, Colorado Golf Club, and it was a transformative moment for me. Witnessing the event firsthand sparked a new passion for golf, particularly for women's golf, and opened my eyes to the vast opportunities in the sport. Inspired, I made the pivotal decision to shift my focus from lacrosse to golf. After transferring to the University of Denver (DU) to fully dedicate myself to the game, I graduated early in 2018 with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Legal Studies & Ethics, marking the beginning of my professional golf career.
My professional journey began in 2018 on the Eggland’s Best Tour, where I faced early challenges that tested my mettle and provided invaluable lessons. In 2019, I achieved significant milestones: qualifying for the U.S. Women’s Amateur, attending LPGA Tour School, and earning Tour status for the 2020 season. In January 2020, I officially turned professional, competing on the Women’s All Pro Tour and making my debut at my first Symetra Tour event.
The 2021 season was a turning point. After Monday qualifying for my first LPGA Tour event, I gained invaluable experience on one of the world’s most prestigious stages. The 2022 season brought consistent performance, where I missed only three cuts in 12 events, reinforcing my growing confidence and resilience. By 2023, I was competing on both the Epson Tour and LETAS, refining my skills while navigating the competitive landscape at the international level.
Recent Achievements & Future Goals:
The 2024 season marked a period of growth and refinement in my career, culminating in some notable accomplishments. I secured a win on a men's tour, earned a top-10 finish, and recorded multiple top-20 finishes, all while maintaining a scoring average under par (71). Most importantly, I successfully qualified for the 2025 season on the Ladies European Tour (LET), earning full status for the upcoming year. This achievement opens the door to exciting new challenges, and I’m eager to test my skills on the global stage, competing against some of the best in the world as I continue to elevate my game.
As I continue to grow as a golfer, I’m not just focused on results but also on the journey—the lessons learned, the highs, and the inevitable setbacks. Each chapter of my career has shaped me into a more determined, resilient athlete. The future is full of exciting possibilities, and I’m ready to embrace them with both passion and purpose.
